1990 – Leah’s mother and father release the contemporary Christian album Double Freedom that gains worldwide distribution and acclaim. Leah, the only child of musical parents; begins performing at age 4, with or without her parents at various events
1993 – Leah marks this as the real beginning of her pursuit of a career in music, being motivated by the Lauryn Hill (of The Fugees) performances of His Eye Is On The Sparrow and Joyful, Joyful in the Disney movie, Sister Act 2
1997 – Wins the talent contest in the Washington State Pre-teen Miss America Pageant and is 1st runner-up in the National Pageant
1997 – The first of five years that Leah would perform in the Langston Hughes musical, Black Nativity
1998 – Leah joins the Total Experience Gospel Choir under the direction of Founder/Director, Pastor Patrinell Wright
2002 – Wins the Grand Prize at KUBE 93.3 Summer Jam Idol and is the opening act at Summer Jam 20. Headline acts include Usher, Nelly, Jermaine Dupri, Mario, Da Brat, LL Cool J, Busta Rhymes, Nappy Roots, and others
2004 – Finalist on the FOX Network Series American Idol, placing 12th out of over 70,000 contestants
2004 – Successfully completes the Summer Performance Program at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA
2005 – Leah pursues a management contract with Andreao "FANATIC" Heard and SixthBoro Entertainment of NYC
2005 – Leah records her demo at Integrated Studios in NYC
